Mondo Italiano / Italian World Magazine - Social Media Power

Mondo Italiano Newspaper was founded and started selling advertising in 1999. The first in-print publication hit the streets on June 1st 2000.  The first ever copy was all in black and white and featured Tony n' Tina's Wedding on the front cover.  We published 12,000 copies monthly distributed at local Italian restaurants in the twin-cities area of Minnesota. Business partner and Italian-American Brian Frauly (RIP) handled advertising sales and distribution and Jay handled editorial and design.

The founder moved back to Florida in early 2003. We now operate as Mondo Italiano Magazine, a luxury lifestyle publication with a global presence.  We are part of Luxury Chamber Media Group which includes:  SOUTH FLORIDA magazine, SOUTHWEST FLORIDA magazine, MEDITERRANEAN MAGAZINE, Republican Magazine and Latin South Florida Magazine.  Our media group also consists over over 200 managed social media groups and pages related to varying cultural and luxury lifestyle topics.

Share Your Italian Story

Every Italian family has a story. Some begin in Sicilian fishing villages, others in the hills of Calabria, the fashionable streets of Milan, or the bustling neighborhoods of Naples. Many continue in the Italian-American communities that helped shape the United States.

Whether your family operates a generations-old restaurant, your organization is preserving a treasured Italian tradition, or you've discovered a remarkable Italian personality, we welcome your ideas.

Mondo Italiano is interested in the stories behind the people: the ambitious entrepreneurs, colorful characters, accomplished artists, remarkable families, and dedicated community leaders who keep Italian culture alive.
